Windows scam.
SCAM - 01902681798 claims to be from Amazon. A recorded message plays saying your Amazon Prime account will be renewed at 79.99 and if you have issues to press 1 to speak to a customer rep. This is obviously an attempt to get you to confirm personal details (I do not have an annual Prime account to begin with).
Automated message claim to be from Amazon (They NEVER call people) saying someone as purchased a £700 pound I-Phone, with an Amazon credit card. Do not respond, you can however check your Amazon account account on-line to give you piece of mind. Absolute scam of the highest order!
Hung up when I answered
SCAM I was told it was Barclays Security Team, when I said I'd not had a credit card for 2 years, The guy turned around and told me it was Barclaycard Debit card fraud team, which to my knowledge, Barclaycard don't do a Debit card.

Another scam HMRC call
Call arrived whilst I was in the republic of Moldova. I work with victims of child-trafficking in that region and my number is only used for emergencies from agencies relating to the subject. Consequently, I tried returning the call with several connections, but the call eventually dropped out. When I returned home discovered I still had to pay for the calls at a rate of GBP£1.27 per connection, plus the same cost for having answered the incoming call! Caveat Emptor!
SCAM - Received a call from this number. A recorded message with american ascent tells you it is from BT and there has been hacking activities on your line. Research shows that there is a well known BT hacking scam with a recorded message. This call was 30 mins after an identical from another number 01214360911. Please be wary of the calls and hang up SCAM / SPAM

SCAM - "John" from "BT" called to help me sort out the issues with our router............he also called me from 01617983874 earlier in the day. When I asked him for a number that I could call him back on he tried to put me through to his supervisor and the phone went dead.

This comany called to tell me that I had downloaded a malicious file and it was slowing my computer down. Well, despite my undouting that this was scam call, my computer has actually been slow, so I thought I d humor myself and listen to what they had to say... they asked me to press the windows key on my keyboard, when I told the that I had a mac, they hung up haha!
I was asked if I live in an industrial or noisy area that had affected my hearing. My reply.... " sorry I can t hear you!" and then put the phone down on them! Not the first call I ve had from this number. Another recent one was about playing the football pools! It s getting to the point that if I answer the phone and hear an Asian/Indian accent I just put the phone down!
