Called the number and they put the phone down on us clearly a fraud from a foreign country. Called bank and blocked account from been ripped off by these disgusting evil cretins. Be aware they are changing the last few digits on this number so less recognisable

Pretended to be from D&G home-appliance insurance. After the spiel he asked for our bank details and said it was impossible to send documentation through the post. I would guess that many people have been taken in by this.

This was a recorded message from a number purporting to be a bank (which bank not specified) and telling me that 2 dodgy transactions had just been recorded. One payment to Amazon, and one international payment via an unspecified website. Obviously crap, but a potential cause of anxiety nonetheless.

I got a call this a recorded message saying that it was from HMRC and they had sent a letter to me which had been returned to them and they were about to start a prosecution against e and I should press the 1 keg to speak to an agent. I immediately hung up. This is an old scam which is apparently still doing the rounds.
