Accident I dont drive and it's a heard you were in a car accident recently. Pointed this out (the fact I dont drive, so how did they get this information) and they asked me to hold. Also I've not actually been in a car accident. Number has been blocked.
Fraud Caller had a strong accent and spoke poor english. There was a lot of background noise as you would expect from a call centre. Asked to speak to my husband but did not mention his first name. Claimed to be from the Fraud dept of Visa Debit but did not say which bank had issued the card. She asked for no security checks. Spoke about unauthorised transaction. I don t know anyone who lives in England, so I have no idea who this person may be. This is why I m really curious who this person/company is. They are calling people saying that your National Insurance number may be cancelled because it was found suspicious for some illegal activities and you may be arrested. Then they ask you to hold on the line to speak with one agent and then they are going to request for money to clean your name.
