Government they wanted me to release my social over the phone for some random bullshit they wouldn’t tell me about because they needed my information to talk to me about it.
DANGEROUS Scammer saying he is calling from BT about my internet connection problems. These calls are always a scam. They often know your name and address, so can sound legit. Usually they want you to go online then give them control of your device. They can then get information stored on the device. Banking info, passwords etc. All this under the pretence of helping you. Looks like this is a new number they re using. DEFINITELY BEWARE

Had the most annoying call from someone called Apple, who would not listen to my request to be removed from their database, but just insisted on asking me about why I hadn t ma=de a PPI claim

kept ringing, hung up. its a computer calling many homes at once, and when you pick up, if they have staff available they will talk. if no staff, the call hangs up and calls another 100+ homes. very annoying. if not a scam, probably selling junk or ppi that you wouldnt have bought otherwise. AVOID
Answered a call from this number, where the caller, Chris (with a thick Indian accent), claimed to be from O2 and wanted to know how my day was. Since I'm not an O2 customer, I hung up and blocked the number.
Had a cold calI from this number today. I answered the phone, could hear voices in the background. Nobody replied and the line went dead after about 30 seconds. I rang the number back and found out that it belongs to Logic Guard Insurance. I told them that I am registered with the TPS and asked them to take my number off their database. 01515150604 13:14 13/06/2012 Received a call from this number, when I answered the guy introduced him self but did not disclose the company he was working for I asked him the purpose of his call and he wanted to HELP me. I then turned the tables on him and asked him what sort of help he could give me he then went on to sell me compensation for the ACCIDENT I had, He new more about the accident than i did as i have never had an accident. I then asked him why he thought I had an accident and needed his help.
