Just been called by this number to inform me my emails are being used by someone in the usa and if I follow his instructions through my computer we can solve this together. Bloody nice chap! However I do know that once connected to your computer they can lock you out unless you make payments to them. SCAM me thinks. This call came about half an hour after the last, and was easily recognisable because of the usual crackling. I bellowed "Hello" loudly enough to burst the caller s eardrums, and that put an end to it. The number used by these criminals, who want me to allow them to infect my computer, was as fictitious as the previous one had been.

More calls today from numerous unknown numbers. Added this one to my blocked list. Extremely annoying!

I ve been on holiday for a couple of days. upon my return if found my answering machine with 26 calles from this number. no one ever speaks.

These crooks are called Ascend Finance and are buying local numbers so that you are duped into answering their call. Do not answer and report them to OFCOM.

Just had this 'you've been involved in an accident call'. hung up when I heard this but I expect I will be charged £3 or so

2 weeks ago I answered and a lady with very little knowledge in englsih talked to me. She could not say the company name or anything. I told her to delete my cell phone number completely and said I wasn t interested at all in anything she could say. Despite this that number has called me in average 2-3 times a day... for 2 weeks.. As there is no company name to be told - I suspect they re nothing but hackers.. But can t say for sure.

Rang numerous times to here, when answered there is a long silence, when a voice does enter the equation they were very rude to me and shouted down the phone why I wasnt listening.

Had a call from 07894865338 from someone asking for me by name and claiming to be from the Citizens Advice. I thought he was saying he had been contacted because I had reported a dead person, I asked him to repeat it, which he did. His accent was very thick and from seeing this site I think he was trying to say I had reported a debt problem !!! He hung anyway...
