Another accident claim call, different this time though as it was a recorded message designed to sound polite and conversational like a live caller. Company name was stated but too quickly and barely audibly. States they have information of involvement in an accident and asks to confirm whether you have had an accident in last 3 years. I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. SCAM - 01902681798 claims to be from Amazon. A recorded message plays saying your Amazon Prime account will be renewed at 79.99 and if you have issues to press 1 to speak to a customer rep. This is obviously an attempt to get you to confirm personal details (I do not have an annual Prime account to begin with).
