SCAM Call started with a oversees transaction of 600 pound has been attempted was this you giving you the option of saying yes or no. I stated no and was placed to a oversees call centre claiming to be from the Halifax. I stopped the call and told him I will call Halifax direct. He started to say no I am with the Halifax and I ended the call. After contacting Halifax I was told to block the number as it is indeed a scam call. Good luck out there all.

When told we were on the TPS register he kept himself on hold for a minute and said he had reported it to his manager. Well if they were a decent company they should be using the latest TPS register but obviously they are another scamming company flouting ALL the rules. I am repeatedly called by this number but there is never a message left or any explanation. In my experience I have been repeatedly targeted to claim for motor accident compensation - and very aggressively.

Constant missed calls for a week. I answered and it was a polite lady from Vodafone trying to sell me something. She knew my name as I am a customer. When I said I was busy she said she will call back another time. This number does not appear on the Vodafone authorised numbers list although it is only one digit out from a lot of their numbers.

Calling at all times of the day and trying to convince you to stay on the line. I suspect it s a fishing exercise to gather info we may seem to think is harmless but gives clues to passwords bank details and so on the first question was who do I bank with and do I bank online I am deeply suspicious of anyone asking about any of my financial details unsolicited as banks don t call asking my details so no-one else should either
