SCAM - automated call. Left a voicemail to say that a legal enforcement action had been initiated on my National Insurance number and for me to call them back and they would go through my case file with them. They also said that if i did not do this, my National Insurance number would be deleted.
I got a phone call today (ending up on my voicemail). The message said: “This is officer Danis Grey from HM Revenu and Costume. The hotline to ??? revision is 02 03 314 77 91. I repeat, it is 02 03 314 77 91. Do not disregard this message and call us back. If you do not call us back, or we do not hear from your solicitor either. Then get ready to face the legal consequences. Good bye. And take care.” It is obviously a scary phishing phone call.

Just received this call which said that I had installed something on my home phone number which was sounds or something. I put the phone down and did no more but this is not something I have requested and I think could be dangerous. Called just now regarding washing machine insurance - clearly a scam as my washing machine was never registered due to inability to register at the time.
Young female, said I had had an accident in the past 2/3 yrs which was non fault, I have not! When asked where she had my number from as registered with TPS she completely blanked me and spoke over me, said goodbye and hung up. Very annoyed!

They are calling people saying that your National Insurance number may be cancelled because it was found suspicious for some illegal activities and you may be arrested. Then they ask you to hold on the line to speak with one agent and then they are going to request for money to clean your name.
