I got 2 short calls and before I could pick up they stopped. I don't know this number or anyone I know personally who would have this number.
I am from germany, i don't know anybody from the UK. It's the second call from the UK today. So probably a scam caller.

It's a call to another scammer who will then proceed to try to rob you by getting you to buy gift cards for them, they will "open a secure account" fur you and get you to transfer big money into it, or send cash wrapped in foil to some random address to "secure your bank" there's no one you can report this to as its a spoofed number. SCAM Recorded female voice stating that some account belonging to me (didn't catch what she said) had sent £600 overseas and this was a check to see if I had sent it. Press 1 for Yes it was me and 2 for no it wasn't. As it was clearly a scam, I did neither ! Strange that the search shows the number as being from Rothesay - which I'd always regarded as a prestigious place !!!
Called me about a road traffic accident. Claimed to be from my insurer but it was clear they have purchased data leaked by my insurer. They hung up when I mentioned I will report them to the ICO.
