I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. Just received this call which said that I had installed something on my home phone number which was sounds or something. I put the phone down and did no more but this is not something I have requested and I think could be dangerous. I am hiping that I have not been charged anything but will need to check my bill when it arrives.
Claiming to be from Sky - clearly a scam, have me a load of abuse when I told them I wasn’t interested and would report their number.
This number calls me almost everyday, never answered it and from what I have read from above I will be blocking it

Got a call this morning from a lady. I could hardly understand a word she was saying. Thick accent and slow sounding voice. I repeatedly apologised for not being able to understand and asked her to repeat herself. She hung up.

SCAM: Amazon Prime scam, but with slightly different script. Female automated voice ‘Hi, this is your reminder that your Amazon Prime subscription has been auto-renewed for seventy nine nine nine’ (No currency mentioned!) Press 1 to cancel, press 2 for any other queries.
It turned out to be another request for possible PPI refund.
Some bellend called Tom at "help your claim" claiming I was in an accident.

I was called on my mobile by this number on Friday morning 22/11/13 - they hung up when i answered.
