Rang but hung up. I assume it is a hoax caller because scams have been reported from this area code.

Very rude and persistent caller, they call themselves Green Shield. I have reported them to TPS. I will wait to see if that does any good.

They have been calling me all week. This is really enough EE or Orange or whatever!

A Manchester number, so thought is was someone I know. However it was an unpleasant person who identified themselves as being from a company called Motor Investigations. He wanted to talk about insurance. I asked him why he was calling and he was aggressive. I hung up. Definitely a scam of some sort.

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. Had a call from 07894865338 from someone asking for me by name and claiming to be from the Citizens Advice. I thought he was saying he had been contacted because I had reported a dead person, I asked him to repeat it, which he did. His accent was very thick and from seeing this site I think he was trying to say I had reported a debt problem !!! He hung anyway...

Called this morning just before 8.30 am. As the number was unrecognised it was allowed to go to the answering machine. The call was terminated almost immediately.

Ew, just got a call from them. They just small talked me for a bit and when I said I was busy and hung up, the manager called me back! I cut him off, told him to not call again, and hung up. Hopefully they leave me alone and don t continue to call as others on here have said.
