Threatening call with Automated American voice claiming to be from HMRC/inland revenue...apparently either me or my solicitor need to call back on this number to speak to a lady called Linda Baker or “face the legal consequences!!” VILE fear mongering at its best...I won’t be calling back...number blocked!!
Answered the call and it just beeped and went dead.
Caller asked to speak to person who wasn t in. Told to phone again after 6pm (4 hours away). Received 2 further calls from this number within 30 minutes of original call so caller obviously doesn t listen.

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. Wanted £200 to fix, as our Mcafee didn't cover "network". Said we'd call back and given this number. Subsequently checked with Currys who support some of our tech who confirmed it's a scam

Phoned at 9pm.Considering we only had our phone line connected at 2pm today I was shocked at how they already have our number.
SCAM Spoke to me for a few seconds to confirm that I didn't sound like an easy target then rapidly cut me off. I can only assume they are scamsters probably not calling from this number, but spoofing it.
Phoned 4 times today, ambulance chasers, I left phone off the hook for 5 minutes, she was shouting “is anybody there?” constantly. Received more calls, all unanswered, around tea time.
