I was hard at work concentrating on what I was doing when interrupted by this number calling me. I did not answer. When I investigated later Google associated it with Fed-Ex tracking service. Puzzled, I called it back, only to get a recorded message saying it was a research agency. More investigation revealed others had been bothered by it and that whoever these people are were claiming to be Carphone Warehouse. I doubt it. Call received regarding the 20 interest I paid to the HMRC for my PPI claim that I should be able to claim backquot Woop Woop the excitement I felt was a big fat ZERO as I have never made a PPI claim and if I did should the company I did the claim with not contact me to arrange the refund to me I advised the lovely lady who loved calling me Ms Amanda that I am not interested in the scam or in giving them any of my bank details and to remove me from the database immediately

This is a scam. They are saying they are from BT, however the following is true (as I worked for BT for 36 years). 1 - BT do not ring you on a mobile number (unless and engineer has an appointment at your house that you know about). 2 - The phone is registered to Vodaphone, BT do not use any other networks for their own use. 3 - He could not give me my BT account number. 4 - He said he was from Millenium City London, this mobile number is located in Manchester! Answered a call from this number but got no reply and they hung up after approximately 10 seconds.

They are from a pensions company. They asked if I had a pension and whether I paid into one and I said "no." She then said thank you and hung up. Just say that you don t have and have never paid into a pension and it seems they hang up quite quickly!
