Call arrived whilst I was in the republic of Moldova. I work with victims of child-trafficking in that region and my number is only used for emergencies from agencies relating to the subject. Consequently, I tried returning the call with several connections, but the call eventually dropped out. When I returned home discovered I still had to pay for the calls at a rate of GBP£1.27 per connection, plus the same cost for having answered the incoming call! Caveat Emptor!

I was phoned today saying from a young chap claiming I was going to receive a letter tomorrow informing me of a PPI refund, and somehow my bank suddenly owes me money back. I asked this chap which bank may owe me this money, he said it could be from one of several banks which I have accounts with, which he just named several banks off a list. I am listing this number as harrassment (likely scam) because I had 5 withheld calls after midnight which I subsequently blocked - followed immediately by this number which is now also blocked. I m guessing origin is overseas as UK callers would know not to call after midnight!
