Unknown caller treat with caution could be scam

Clearly a scam - but impressive - even left a voice mail. DO NOT press 1 as the call suggests. The threatening message is clearly fraud. Why oh why can't the phone companies do something about these? Because they don't care...

SCAM Some chancer I couldn't really understand claiming my maintenance contract for something or other is up for renewal. I never take out maintenance contracts on anything as a matter of principle, as it generally works out cheaper to pay as you go, so I know this isn't true. Liekly scam. Claimed to be from Nationwide and wanted details about account. Nationwide denied the call came from them.

Someone from "London stock exchange" several phone calls a flday for the last week. Last guy I spoke too called me a "motherf***wring c***" so I assume they aren't an actual company.

01243514389 and 01874612588 scam call supposed to be from my bank telling me that there has been unauthorized transactions on my bank card.

SCAM Recorded message advising there was a transaction on my account from Amazon and a money transfer for £1300. I have confirmed with my bank this is a scam.

Said her name and where she was asked to speak to director by name said she could not speak to him she said why told her to remove our number from her system

Came from the Russian federation karelskya region.

SCAM - the guy said he was from a company called MEH. He said there was potentially something wrong with my life insurance cover which could stop me from being paid out. I asked him what life insurance cober and he hung up. Obviously a scammer BEWARE!!!

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. I received a recorded message telling me that an attempt had been made to use my credit card for the sum of £900 and that if it wasn’t me I was to press option 1 (there were no other options) when I called the number back I was told by recorded message that the phone was switched off.

Indian male called me regarding computer equipment he said I had pre ordered to the tune of over £1000. From Amazon I never made any ordered. Highly dangerous scam.

Foreign female caller said they wanted to refund me £198 for money incorrecty taken from my account for a washing machine service. This is a scam.

Called about bitcoin, and said my number was associated with bitcoin purchase about 4 years ago. I did not even have this number that long ago. Sounded very shady, when I questioned what it was about they rushed to hang up saying that they would be in contact when they could prove it.

Credit card/bank account scam. Recorded message stated unusually high values transactions had occurred. Did a quick online check of my accounts and there were no such transactions.

Scam call. Pretends to be from O2 offering half price bills. As soon as you say you're not with O2, it hangs up. Local London number but poor quality/routed phone line.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFOMATION THIS IS A KNOWN SCAM! This is a scam, I had them call me on different numbers 5 times in the last 2 days claiming there from several different companies. There trying to scam you out of money and DO NOT belong to any of these companies there claim to be. There try and get you to give them your bank details, once you do there will steal money from your account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFOMATION!

Introduced as a Microsoft representative and asked to connect to the computer.

A man called who said he was Vodafone and then EE and offered me an outrageous deal of essentially free minutes, free data and free texts for £6 per month. I checked the vodafone website and the closest deal was £33. I suspect that this is a scam and will report.

SCAM - Unsolicited call stating they spoke to me ages ago and implied I'd agreed to sponsor books for local school. Very slick, found out where my child goes and said 'headmaster will call you yo thank you'......then start pressurising payment over the phone and calling back daily. More needs to be done to shut these types of scammer down!!!

Pretending to be ISP using VOIP to spoof a local number on caller ID, saying my router is bad and wanting me to hand over access to my PC (LOL). Played along to waste his time.
