This seems to be a scam operation. A woman phoned us from this phone number and said could they come and do an asbestos check on our house. We have no asbestos at all, and when I stated my reluctance to make a firm appointment, they immediately cut off.

A indian man called "Michael" rang saying he was from my television company, and he was going to reduce my repair and maintenance insurance for my television from ?7 to ?5. He then checked my name and address and was going to transfer my to his manager to take my payment details! What a load of rubbish and a scam! Michael said I was selected in the area as I was a senior citizen! what a scam. I hung up, but please warn elderly friends or family. thank you.

Scam they are an Advisory company who pretend to work for HMRC they refer you to an Insolvency company and collect a fee. In affect they are middlemen you pay for nothing

Left an message saying that they were Age UK following up on an online inquiry. Called number back and it was Senior Response, a telemarketing company.

Was skeptical at first because they asked for details of the account but then I had just filled out an online form on uswitch and it was the same info they were asking for and I literally had the details there. The man was polite and even had me looking at Trust Pilot to read about their services. Ended up saving about 1/3rd on my farms energy. Only as I was out of contract and I didn t know though.

Called me on both my mobile phones at the same time. One of the phones is only known by very close family. How did they get this number?

Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... Just a nuisance call, it is a call centre who calls trying to sell insurance policy. I m ignoring 2/3 calls a day at least from this company. They ll get bored quickly.
