Indian man, after giving an English name,says he is calling from BT Technical Dept.I know that there is no such Department within the BT organisation!!I said goodbye and put the phone down!! It is High time BT themselves did something about this type of call as it has been going on for a very long time.Do not be fooled, it is a SCAM which potentially will relieve you of large amounts of your money!!

Said he wanted to check that an online payment of £2500ish this morning was really made by me. Of course it wasn’t. I don t know why they give out 0843 numbers because they all seem to be used for these types of premium rate scams. If you register for the non-existant prize draw you are charged huge sums for every message you get from them until all of your phone credit is gone.

I have had about a call a day from these people. Have now managed to put them onto caller barred on my phone. I told them I was on TPS, but they told me as they were not selling me anything that didn t matter. This is now getting towards being harassment.7y327
