Female caller claiming to be checking if I was still receiving unwanted calls. Confirmed name and address as this can be generally obtained. However, started asking about credit card details. I replied that she was asking too many personal questions which TPS would not do and hung up.

Claimed to be Amazon, saying I’d bought a gift card for £49.99 and they wanted to check this was correct, and if it wasn’t did I want to cancel the order. I said it wasn’t me and I’d like to cancel (but was already suspicious - who buys a gift card for £49.99, rather than £50?!), then they started asking about which device I’d like the refund processed via. Fraud and Bitcoin scam. They present very nice case that you are owed money back from the Market Cube and trick you into paying money into Binance.com account under your name. Then they transfer money to another bitcoin account that they say is yours and actually has nothing to do with you. They convince transfers need to be done to confirm your identity and so that they can pay you money back without suspicion of money laundering. Absolute scam.

This is another number used by "Alex from the Solar Centre" It is a SCAM, bot ! A cleverly set up bot that can make some sensible replies to my enquiries. e.g. Q Are you working from home? A < a standard response> Please can you repeat that. But then went back to the same old preamble about 4 free home installations in the Dorset area, which it had said 3 times this week already .Each time I block the number, it pops up from an other one!
