Called by this number today. Rang and rang but stopped as I picked up. 1471 gave me the correct number but "Not Recognized" when I dialed it.

Knew surname of account holder and a partially correct address for the property (i.e. they d got the address from an address database, and not from us). SCAM / SPAM Number called at 2pm saying it was the income tax department and I've been caught doing tax fraud and I should press 1 to speak to the agent dealing with my case. If I don't press 1 I will be arrested soon. Hung up and searched but can't find a record of the number. I've committed no fraud so not worried but people shouldn't receive these calls.
