I asked where he was calling from but couldn’t understand what he said, put him on loudspeaker and asked again and no one in my office could understand what he said? Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

Claims to be about an Amazon order of £399 being dispatched tomorrow if no action (press 3) is taken. Obviously a huge scam. I checked my Amazon account just to make sure, no such order has been placed. Tried to ring back on my mobile, disconnected. The call came in on my land line. Beware!!!

Asian sounding chap trying to gain access to my computer saying it was slow. Kept him talking for a few minutes to cost him the phone call. After a while he got very abusive calling me all sorts of names then hung up. Keep people like this talking so they don t have time to annoy anyone else.
