Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.

Caller said I was subject to a tax investigation but without even confirming who I was so I think it is a scam number and I cannot ring back and it says the call was from in the middle of Trafalgar Square!
This number I believe belongs to a double glazing window sales company - Safe Style UK or Instyle UK.

This number shows as International and 01274792012... Said it was a quick survey, I asked where they got my details from and they said public source. They knew my name, address, postcode and phone number. Fairly obvious that they are identifying opportunities for onward selling. I think the only reason I have a home phone these days is for junk/spam calls. Another one for the block list.
