Cold call who ignores the telephone barring service and hang up when ask to take the number off their records

I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. Short ring on a Sunday. To my private mobile, no way I d ever call them back. I ll have to see how to block this number for the future.

Said he was from Harringtons Advisory regarding PPI due to me....I assured him I have never taken out anything with PPI. He even knew my name which was strange as I rarely give my mobile number to people. I am registered with TPS so am very annoyed.

These are atelemarketing company selling will-writing and estate services. Nothing wrong with that but my mother-in-law is on the TPS. We called them and they promised to take her number off their list. You can always contact them on 0800 0194557 - dial the number without the first 0 from mobiles and it registers as a free call
