similar to other callers, called and when i answered said nothing although i could hear background noise

Energy survey on behalf of Midland Heart

Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.

Keeps calling and asking for Mr Batt. Indian accent. Have politely asked them not to call our number, but they keep calling. Beyond annoying. More like harassment.

Called me 1635 on 28/7/2017. Said they were sorry that I had had an accident. I replied. "You know that I haven t. You are just phishing." The caller began to argue with pre-rehearsed script. I hung up.

Do not answer, rang my mobile and never trust numbers I do not know especially 0845/0843/08457 FabPrank phone calls.... ?? to opt out you need to go on website??? dont think so!

This recorded voice offers Government funded solar panels etc, then press 2 on keypad. I have pressed 2 to speak to the nuisance caller but only get a dialling tone

It seems to be the start of the open pest phone calls season - I haven t answered the phone for 3 years now and have a peaceful life - except for the phone ringing. Why does the government not make this constant harassment illegal? Freedom of speech is OK to a certain extent as we have seen in recent years religious pests but surely the recipient is entitled to a quite life.

These are a real pest. Calls mobile several times a day, always silent. Just block and report them to Ofcom. They also call from 01290803466.

Caller stated that he was ringing about the "computer in my house, connected to the internet". I asked him what operating system it is running - Windows XP, Windows 2...

I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!
