01455 236000 has been pestering me with silent calls on both my landline and mobile. We believe that the caller might be from the Hinckey area and despite trying to block it on my mobile we have received umpteen calls from a "private number" How can we stop them from pestering us?
Call from a woman claiming to be doing a government survey and asking if I pay into a pension. Didn't sound that professional and didn't tell me why she wanted to know.
This number called and said they are from the Accident Support Group, I've googled that name and it does come up on companies house. They have said they have got my details of my accident from Thrifty Car Hire (who happen to be who my courtesy car was from)

Likely scam. They rang me. I picked up but didn't say anything into the phone. They didn't say anything either and then hung up. I always answer in this way when I receive an unexpected phone call from an unfamiliar number. Legitimate callers always say "hello" and try to get a response. Scammers hang up. It happens every time!

SCAM automated call! This number called - I didn't answer as I didn't recognise it. My voicemail picked up part of an automated recorded message, seemed to be telling me to press 1 or my National Insurance number would be 'switched off' and I would no longer be able to use it. Possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard but sadly some people will panic and do as they're told!

Black Apples....Rotten apples is more like it....I didn t realize people in the UK were getting spammed by india staffing companies as well...Its a serious epidemic in the US these days...I ve got a list a mile long of india staffing companies that are aggressive as hell cold calling and lining people up with fake jobs that they cut you as fast as possible and underpay you as low as possible.... personally, i think its all tied with some type of india visa fraud... If you press '1' to get to one of the agents it is always an indian. I always press 1 to read them the riot act concerning fraud and robocallers contacting those on national do not call registry.
