Female caller claiming to be checking if I was still receiving unwanted calls. Confirmed name and address as this can be generally obtained. However, started asking about credit card details. I replied that she was asking too many personal questions which TPS would not do and hung up.

My husband passed the call to me as it related to my washing machine insurance renewal so I did not hear any name or how the call started. He did rather a hard (and fast) sell with a reduced annual figure but taking 3 years immediately. He seemed to have details of my current annual figure. I checked with D&G who deal with the insurance and they did not recognise the phone number as belonging to anyone working for them.

Yikes They did not know me, they asked for my name. This is a bot calling random numbers in order to hoaks innocent people. The call is forwarded to a person who askes for your name.
