SCAM / SPAM - They phoned me and claimed that I haven't paid my taxes and that I owe £3,900 and with fines that was now around £20,000. Then informed me that I have 2 options Option 1 - to go to court and risk losing the case and owing £20,000 or Option 2 - pay £3,900 now. Apparently, according to recorded voice, the National Crime Agency are going to suspend my National Insurance number and arrest me. This is unlikely. This is the only one of 4 unknown calls from Vodafone numbers I have answered in the last couple of days but suspect all of the same ilk.

Silent call, I think the scam is for you to call them back at inflated call costs to call the number. No one ever answers you after you pick up but you can hear that there is some one on the other end of the line as they initially say hello. Deffo a scam!!!

Automated call Called by this number saying that this is a warning that some money will be taken from my account today. I have never heard of a bank that calls a person without the person calling forst so it is obviously a scam. Not sure how they scam, but I have blocked this caller now and it will be blocked forever. Just be aware and check your passwords etc on your bank details.

Apparently this is the Energy Advice Team and I thought this company were just cold calling me. I soon realised that they were just responding to my application regarding an air source heat pump and solar pv panels on either Facebook or Instagram. They are actually a very friendly and knowledgeable company.

Receiving calls about boiler replacement every couple of days and I am now about to put it on my Truecall machine. The best ?100 I ever spent. I seldom get nuisance cals these days but as soon as I have time I Google them to check authenticity, then put them on the Truecall if not trusted. I am hard of hearing, most know this and I seldom get calls now unless important.

A recorded message informed me that some fairly large debits had been made on my Barclaycard account and that I should press '1' immediately. (I didn't do so.) Checked my Barclaycard account and there is no sign of any such debits. I therefore concluded this was a scam.

These are indian individuals making scam calls presenting them as phone companies and scam you.
Really weird, rang and asked for my daughter whom banks with co-op. Left her a message asking her to call 08448448899 ASAP as there was a problem with her account. She rang them later and they had no record of anyone calling her nor was there any problem with her account.

This is a scam number claiming to be from the HMRC. You get an automated message threatening legal action if you do not contact them. It is of course rubbish. Just block the number and ignore it.

Just been called from this number - thought it was a real human at first, but then realised it was some sort of semi-automated system, pretending to interact with my replies. Claiming to be Injury Claim Law - they have an interesting website, which contains a number of spelling mistakes, so doubt they are anything other than a bunch of low life ambulance chasing chancers!
I don't know who this person is who is contacting me but I don't want them to thank you.
