They are saying they are from BT, however the following is true (as I worked for BT for 36 years). 1 - BT do not ring you on a mobile number (unless and engineer has an appointment at your house that you know about). 2 - The phone is registered to Vodaphone, BT do not use any other networks for their own use. 3 - He could not give me my BT account number. 4 - He said he was from Millenium City London, this mobile number is located in Manchester! 01233801657 - Silent call then clicked off. No Google inf. for a legitimate number. Looking at other similar numbers probably a spoofed number robo-call from a home insulation scammer. Rated as such.

Received a call saying I was owed £3850 from a previous PPI claim (which had already been settled). Indian gentleman said he was Alex Carter from the County Court of London, 227 The Strand. I had a subsequent call from Francis Anderson, same voice, same tone, probably the same person. I was told to hand over iTunes vouchers for £150 when the cheque would be hand delivered to me. I said I would pay these solicitor fees 7 days after the cheque had cleared in my account, he hung up! Incredibly dodgy, please be

I get a call from this number every 2-3 days...I have a cheap desk top phone with caller i.d. display....makes it so easy not to have to pick the phone up and speak to thisannoying idiots.DONT ever answer the phone if this number calls !!Virgin media to bl

Even when I asked this bloke if he was "some sort of a c***" he still kept on trying to sell things over the top of me. Absolute tool. They call my company every few weeks trying the same.

In less than 2 hours this number has called me 6 times. I've even rejected it 5 times but clearly they can't get the message lol. That to me says scam!!

Automated message from HMRC saying there is a claim in my name and that I will be arrested if I don't press #1. Then they hanged up.

Calling numerous times a day for weeks

Scam call claiming to be 'bank security' asking for confirmation of recent payments to Amazon (£300) and a four figure sum sent overseas. Recorded message, no identification asked for or given. Press 1 to cancel, 2 for further details. Replaced the receiver.
