Scam. I use to work for vodafone, and the first thing i asked after he started talking was " who is your line manager?" "And what system am i on". He freaked out and try come back but not a chance. As for the question providing you managers name should be a problem, unless you are a scammer and it takes you 5-6 seconds to invent a name, secondly vodafone has 2 systems that are being used in the company and it s a very simple to answer this question for a vodafone person. Automated call telling you if you don't attend court your national insurance number will be suspended, although no name of which court.. then the automated message tells you to call another number to "resolve" the issue, where someone is ready and willing to take all your personal details and bank card details, and wipe out your bank to resolve an issue that only turning up at an un-named court could previously do. SCAM do not fall for this. HMRC would never contact you this way.

This number has been calling most days for over a week, sometimes several times. I was able to pick up once but there was apparently no one there.
Missed call with no message. Suspected it was untrustworthy so I called it back (using 141) and the number is dead.

SCAM: First of all, an automated male voice saying ' Hello, Customer, an ipad has been added to your Amazon account'. The taped message was poorly recorded and there were several breaks and skips in it. It played 3 or 4 times continuously before I ended the call. I didn't wait for the end of the message. I don't have, or ever have had, an Amazon account. Supposedly calling from Wolverhampton.

This is a scam but a worrying one - the Asian sounding caller knew what account add ons I had on Virgin Media but some 2 years ago. Checked with the real VM and they have not rung me!

I have just a call from Consumer Justice Group on 0161-0825460. They have either got a new number or perhaps they have multiple numbers.

Called several times. Call cuts out when my answerphone cuts in, a common occurrence with telesales agencies. It seems they wait to get a human voice and until you speak all you hear is a silence... say hello and the noise of a call centre cuts in.
This number keeps calling me and when i pick it up nobody talks, it is very frustrating and abnormal.

I too was offered "work from home" employment by ING FUNDING (via e-mail). An application form and a contract of employment was attached to the e-mail which I am to fax to 02076811627, but there was no mention of bank details. Is this safe? I will cantact ING directly to find out if anyone can verify this e-mail I was sent. I ll post my findings as soon as I know whats going on.
