DANGEROUS Scammer saying he is calling from BT about my internet connection problems. These calls are always a scam. They often know your name and address, so can sound legit. Usually they want you to go online then give them control of your device. They can then get information stored on the device. Banking info, passwords etc. All this under the pretence of helping you. Looks like this is a new number they re using. DEFINITELY BEWARE

Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? I missed it but I was expected the call. Can t call back (beeps); presumably outgoing only.

Prerecorded message alleging to be from a bank - 2 transactions were highlighted as 1. a payment of £300 to Amazon and 2. a payment exceeding £1000 to an overseas destination. Options were offered which were ignored and the call was terminated by the recipient. An effort was made to call the number from both landline and mobile where an answer was given “it has not been possible to connect your call” and “the number you have dialled is incorrect”, respectively. These people should be sent to Siberia.
