Internet - supposedly from Network Security Centre regarding problems with my internet. There doesn't appear to be any such company and I don't have problems with my internet
PPI company, number showed up as based in Macclesfield. Never needed to look into PPI so they had no reason to call me. Just a company who has no doubt bought a list of data to harass people.

Claimed to be from Trojan Telecom and to be calling to reduce my company s telephone bill. Trojan does exist but I doubt if it knows anything about this call. I dialled 1471 and was given the above number followed by a "please hang up" message, suggesting the number may well be fictitious.

Indian man, after giving an English name,says he is calling from BT Technical Dept.I know that there is no such Department within the BT organisation!!I said goodbye and put the phone down!! It is High time BT themselves did something about this type of call as it has been going on for a very long time.Do not be fooled, it is a SCAM which potentially will relieve you of large amounts of your money!!

Just been called by this number to inform me my emails are being used by someone in the usa and if I follow his instructions through my computer we can solve this together. Bloody nice chap! However I do know that once connected to your computer they can lock you out unless you make payments to them. SCAM me thinks. He was talking about PPI I told him I was not interested, I had an Ex-Dir Number & it was registered with TPS, could not get him off the phone had to cut him off in the end! Do NOT be taken in by this company!!!!

They rang us up claiming there was a money withdrawal from one of my parents' bank cards or £8000, even though after checking no withdrawals were made.
Scam call claiming to be HMRC, THIS IS NOT HMRC. Do not answer. I answered just to tell them to stop scamming. Disgusting really, preying on those that are vulnerable. Very rude as well on the other end of the phone.
