Automated call . I just kept saying hello, and 'Jess from solar power' kept repeating her introductory message, with exactly the same phrasing and intonation. Clearly automated but trying to sound like an actual person. Very dodgy.

Man, claiming to be Jonathan Carter from Microsoft, rang from 01142998909. During the call the line dropped and when he rang back it was from this number. He said hackers had taken over my computer in the pass few days. He tried to persuade me to download Anydesk which gives access to my computer on the pretext that it would remove the hackers. When I refused he said he would have to block my computer from the broadband and I would have to come to Microsoft in Reading to have it unblocked

Poor line quality, strong foreign accent. Claimed to be from SKY and had detected "slow internet" on my connection which they could fix at no cost. When I replied that I didn't have any problems, immediately hung up.

This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Need to be gulible to get conned by these numpties. If in doubt call the number on the back of your card. Never react to their suggestions. Dont be fooled.

As soon as I answered it hung up, I didn’t even speak. I tried to call back but call wouldn’t connect. I blocked the number because it is probably telemarketing or spam.

This is a scam number the called my uncle pretending to be from Amazon saying that they had taken £95 from his account by accident and if he gave them his details they would refund the money.
