SCAM - asked me for my age bracket!! Claiming to be from the postcode lottery
Man with Indian accent asked for me by name, claiming to be calling in relation to DNS mail server problems. Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP. Clearly that wouldn t happen due to data protection so I asked for his company name and contact details so I could call them later. He said i could check them out

Receiving 4-5 calls from this number every day, automated, regarding energy efficient gas boiler. It says press 2 to book appointment or 9 to stop receiving these calls. I have pressed 9 several times, makes no difference and have pressed 2 twice and tried to explain I have a new boiler only for them to put the phone down!!!! Sick to the back teeth of them.

Was from a Gary Walker claiming to be from my insurance company. In actuality it was from The Cotswold Group who are Private Investigators for insurance companies. This nows seems to be standard practice when making a claim and another method for insurance companies to try and get out of reimbursing you. I have been told by an insurance company that they use a phone based lie detector, which is completely useless. Lie detectors are not admissible in court because their results are not consistent.

Answered the phone a couple of days ago to someone shouting "f**king c**t" down the phone from this so called professional insurance advice group! Called again about ten minutes ago confronted them about this and they were very aggressive towards me said there company is professional and wouldn t do such things.
