This number called me today saying with an automated message that there was a fraudulent charge for a US gambling site and if I wanted to no more I was to press one. 100% SCAM DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS!!! The bank would never phone u with an automated call and not identify themselves and ask u to press numbers like this. This is so they can get access to ur details. These people r TOTAL SCUM. I received a call from this number today, it s seemed to be a poor connection or he made out he couldn t hear me. I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I expected they ( whoever they are) wanted me to call the bank at some unknown exaggerated cost to myself.

Claimed to be a policeman when clearly on a call centre type area. First thing he said was "I'm a police man, what's your name" when I asked why he was calling and why he wanted my name he just repeated the "I'm a police man".

I keep getting calls from this number which I never answer. I think that if you answer or reply to calls from these people they will know that the number is live, and not only will they keep hassling you, but they will also sell your number to other rogue companies.
