I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.

asked for me by name and had details of an old card that I had used. Stated from GoGuardian - an app to stop cold callers. Informed him I had TPS and that was not stopping them. Got a raised voice response. TPS let calls in from unused numbers and mostly from overseas. Told him not free to talk, then checked on line.. Number relates to a restaurant in Weston Super Mare. SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. Swearing dialogue commenced, said they were from Sri Lanka which seems nonsense. Accent sounded Indian. Called back on different number
