This number appears to be local but isn't. When the 'phone is answered the caller cuts off the call but then calls daily. Each time it calls I ignore it but it's still a nuisance call

Dont be fooled to press 1. Remember any such correspondence from HMRC would be given via written notice to your home address first, with several warnings.
