A Manchester number, so thought is was someone I know. However it was an unpleasant person who identified themselves as being from a company called Motor Investigations. He wanted to talk about insurance. I asked him why he was calling and he was aggressive. I hung up. Definitely a scam of some sort.
Claim to be BT openreach, they are not. BT have been informed they are impersonating them. They want you to turn on your computer so they can protect you from hackers!! SCAM

This guy called me and he said he was a member of the association AML "anti money laundering" in UK and international also. He pretended he could recover money from crypto websites. (I don't know what is crypto). He knows English, french and dutch. He has strong (false) argument to tell you. When I ask him to call the association AML to be identified, he turns around the circle. Cold call. Told me I had been involved in an accident. Since I had not I challenged the caller that they were making a nuisance call. They hung up instantly.
Called "on behalf of a third party" about an accident they said I had been involved in. Total nonsense. Would not give name or tell me how they had received my details. Beware, this is a scam.
