when answered there was silence . i said " all calls to this number are monitored by ofcom " they hung up .
This unrecognised number called me yet again! Initially, I did not answer but then fearing it might be Check & Trace I tried to ring it back. It just cuts off so clearly either spam, scammers or phishing. DO NOT ANSWER. I've now BLOCKED it.

applied for loan online. received loads of ph calls & sms claiming they can sort loan, just ph them to proceed. same as other people are commenting, you get given another number to ph, which is 09no. told cost of call will be refuunded, & loan never materialises. Obviously a scam, got be fair though all seemed very genuine in beginning. glad i looked into it in more detail. 1 to avoid in future, have now blocked number

This call sounds automated and suggests that the person answering the call is involved in a case of tax fraud. It requires to depress number one on your keypad to find out further information otherwise you will be contacted by HMRC. This looks to be a scam.
Had a cold calI from this number today. I answered the phone, could hear voices in the background. Nobody replied and the line went dead after about 30 seconds. I rang the number back and found out that it belongs to Logic Guard Insurance. I told them that I am registered with the TPS and asked them to take my number off their database. SCAM - Claiming to be calling on behalf of EDF Energy, total gas and British gas to update records. I called EDF, they confirmed this is not their number. I don't know who it was but they rang early Saturday morning and woke me up, its very annoying they had hung up by the time I got to the phone!! When the phone rings at 8am I automatically worry its something wrong with an elderly relative, I suppose I should be glad it wasn't!!!
