This is a computer scam. I played along in order to waste their time and to get insight into their methods. There is a warm-up act and a main act to follow. Their first tactic is to say they will cut off your computer unless you cooperate. They take you to Event Viewer administrative events in order to show you a scary page with yellow warning triangles and red error messages. Then to another caller for their main strike. They ve called my mobile 20 times in the last week. Claimed to be from Motor Insurance Database UK. This is a number from Macclesfield. I asked "is your Co. in Macclesfield?", to which they replied "errrr uh-huh". I asked if they could give me their website details and they hung up. Total scam /. fraud scumbags.

Keep getting messages of this number about a loan

Claimed to be from my broadband provider and wanted to sort router problems.

It was an automated call and they claimed to be calling me about a car crash I was supposedly involved in. Needless to say, I have not been involved in an accident. Typical scum cold callers.

LAdy pretending to be from telephone preference service, gives you your name, address and postcode. Then says preference service rewuires you to renew your membership giving the existing Debit card details. Then asks for the details - I refused. At this point line went dead.

Someone called me on this number this morning twice while I was in a meeting. I called back and someone called Mark answered. I did not give my details but asked why he had called me and he put the telephone down. I rang back but it just rings and rings. They/he has tried to call me a further five times today already(seven times in all) and it is only 3.50 pm. HELP.

Calls from Dudley. This outfit uses numbers 230524 and 230563 Line perm busy on recall but was ringing after 6pm? They called my mother 3 times so far. Whon t say who tey are. If we find out who they are and where the work from then, they better hide.

Red Hawk Insurance on 01792735123. I missed call and 2nd one answered abour outstanding PPI from Welsh sounding male. Told him I was not interested and he asked if I had any outstanding PPI, which I informed him that my personal details were none of his business. He then informed me there would be another call if I did not answer his questions, of which I informed him that this would be considered harassment. Welsh male then said that sound like a horrible person. I thanked him.
