i was recently involved in a car accident and the claim is being dealt with by a company chosen by my insurers. this company must have some how got my details. told them to not call me again
Why are these calls still allowed? What is Ofcom there for, if not to deal with these pests?
The caller hung up three times when i spoke. I rang back and a child answered then pu the phone down on me again.
SCAM - calling saying they are Blockchain Investigation Department and wanting to know why I ‘didn’t get my money back’ - no doubt all I had to do was give them my bank details…

Often recieve calls claiming to be from Royal Sun Alliance. RSA are MOTABILITY insurer and we are being targetted for a very minor incident while our MOTABILITY car was stationary/parked/empty off road!Unwelcome, uninvited, disconcerting as related calls can be aggressive. SCAM The caller was a recorded message suggesting they were from a Londoon Magistrate and stated that if I choose to ignore this information then my National Insurance number will be blocked and stop working. After another threat they told me to press 1 to speak to the officer in charge of the case. At which point I hung up.

HMRC Tax Scam. I had time to spare so led them a merry dance. They claim to be HMRC and that there's historical errors in your income tax, and that HMRC have had an arrest warrant issued! I acted innocent, and after wasting about 30 mins of their time, it eventually got around to asking me to buy Google Play cards to the value of the amount supposedly owed. At that point (having given them false personal info), I finally said I wasn't fooled and they hung up. At least I wasted their time!

Automat Same call two days running - plausible sounding at first but is a recording. Purports to be following up government loan for lagging/insulation in loft. PITA especially when waiting genuine calls on peoples health in these worrying times.

Had 11 calls yesterday and so far 6 today most calls are silent or just beep and the say goodbye. 1 of the calls I had there was somebody at the other end who said they were from the TPS and wanted to know if I was still getting unwanted calls and I asked what like this one and put phone down but they still persist in phoning sometimes 3 times in the space of 20 minutes

Very annoying! I received many calls from this number and when I answered nobody spoke. I decided to not answer but they called again many times, so I decided to block the number. I don t know who there is in the other side. Anyone knows?
The owner of this number trawls through car sales lists (like freeads, autotrader etc) and bombards sellers with texts to visit a web site (www.sellitous.co.uk) to get a valuation and sell their car.

A very suspect call. Phone rang and after a few seconds of silence the call terminated. I would never try to phone back in case of the call-back scam which can put you through to a premium number which makes massive charges. This kind of call, even if a genuine cold call, can be very worrying to some people and I abhorr the method.
Don't know this number, and don't understand the look-up on this. It says UK and Russia, what is this telling me just don't know, what all this info means.
