Wanted to sell me insulation, or a new boiler, or windows or whatever it is sales people who pretend to be something else are pedalling these days. I told him we are on the telephone preference service and he hung up.
They ve called me several times, but ring off without speaking. If this is either NHS or contractors, very unprofessional and deeply annoying.

Very similar to everyone else. Had a phone call saying that I was wanted for Tax avoidance and that they were issuing a warrant out for my arrest if I didn?t pay. Seeing as my tax is paid through PAYE I know there?s no issue with my tax. However the tone in which the call is made is quite aggressive if someone is not used to this kind of con. Promptly put phone down.

SCAM - Claiming to be calling on behalf of EDF Energy, total gas and British gas to update records. I called EDF, they confirmed this is not their number. This is someone lying in order to try and get business away from your energy providers and therefore any information you give them could be used fraudulently!
