This number called our business line today. When I answered, a man asked to speak to the business owner. Something about his tone and wording instantly set off alarms that this was a cold sales call, as we receive hundreds of them and I ve grown used to the language they use. I asked who was calling. He gave his name, but no more, so I asked what company he was calling from. He instantly got very defensive and accused me of interrogating him. Claimed to be from Lloyds fraud protection giving home location and claiming card was used at another location. Quickly realised it was a scam call and went to quickly hang up, the caller made a very strange noise beforehand lol.
