HSBC - possible SCAM I received a text from this number as below "HSBC ALERT: Request for new payee MR C JONES has been made on your account. If this was NOT done by you visit hsbc.onlinehelp-securepayee.com./login"
SCAM / SPAM Number called at 2pm saying it was the income tax department and I've been caught doing tax fraud and I should press 1 to speak to the agent dealing with my case. If I don't press 1 I will be arrested soon. Hung up and searched but can't find a record of the number. I've committed no fraud so not worried but people shouldn't receive these calls.

I was phoned today saying from a young chap claiming I was going to receive a letter tomorrow informing me of a PPI refund, and somehow my bank suddenly owes me money back. I asked this chap which bank may owe me this money, he said it could be from one of several banks which I have accounts with, which he just named several banks off a list. Silvershine Services. 4 calls in 48 hrs all from Leicester based numbers. Call starts off with an automated voice asking about accident details. After answering yes and giving brief details, I am put through to a human being. Despite telling them on NUMEROUS occasions now that I DO NOT wish to receive these call, they still persist. Asking them to remove your number just results in the person you re speaking to ending the call. Reported to ICO

Picked up phone, went on to message machine, no message, no response. Seen others have checked this number already.
I was asked if I live in an industrial or noisy area that had affected my hearing. My reply.... " sorry I can t hear you!" and then put the phone down on them! Not the first call I ve had from this number. Another recent one was about playing the football pools! It s getting to the point that if I answer the phone and hear an Asian/Indian accent I just put the phone down!

I got several calls from this number and last night he left a voicemail message. He wanted to meet up for sex, I have no clue who this person is or how he got my number. He said they got it at a London club but I don t live there or go to nightclubs. Really weird, he called at 11:56pm and again at 00:05am.
