Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

Called our TPS registered number yesyerday trying to sell their accountancy services. The female caller became rude and agressive when told the number was TPS registered and I ended the call. Despite knowing the number was TPS registered she (or another woman) called again today. Clearly they have no respect for others.

Unsolicited repeated calls at all times of day claim to be survey for HMRC child benefit asking loads of questions insisting on answers did not give personal details but worried how got name and phone number etc.

this the 2nd missed call from that number, next time they call I'ma tell them to do 1. these type of random numbers usually want money or u owe them something

I can assure everyone it is Vodafone, it s a Rotherham code number 01709 , that is where the company Webhelp is based. Webhelp have a various of campaigns there, Vodafone being one of the best. I know this myself because I work there.. we only ask questions to do with your current account because we need you to confirm it, meaning we already now it. Still don t believe me?.. Look the number up on the Vodafone website instead of some lame little blog.
