Hi Ive just rung the number I read above - 0207 1750125. I spoke to a man called ~Barry who said that I had applied for a loan. When I said I had applied for a loan but whenever it comes up I have to pay I dont persue the application. He then said that it was a for a "membership" not a loan. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about as I had not spoken to anyone about "memberships etc" and I had not given my card details to anyone. Another lousy supposedly human being, telling me in the whole of my area that it was me who had won a prize. Yeah of course I have. Scam all the way, will report this. Scammers seem to be choosing pensioners an awful lot, must think we are all brainless. I hope that Karma comes to them sooner rather than later, that some flea bitten scammer does the same to them or their family.
Designed to look like a Coventry number, but silence then hung up when I answered, so undoubtedly a scam on a power dialler - beware!

A foreign sounding man introduced himself as John Parker and said I was due for refund of bank charges. I gave him my dob (I recently claimed charges and for a second thought it was genuine.)I would never give bank details and said so. I just said Lloyds bank(not true).He said his boss will phone me today. They called this morn and I didn t answer. Dreading the phone ringing now and worried giving my dob was a dangerous thing. He didn t swear but got more impatient as the call went on.

Waffled on about global pandemic and making small. I had to ask him twice who he was and what he wanted. Eventually, he said he wanted me to participate in an economic survey. I told him, no thank you, I wasn't interested, he kept trying to talk over me and I hung up. A few seconds later he rang back asking why I hung up.
