If you Google the number, it comes back to Brother. 0333 numbers are used in the UK and known as non-geographic but are (supposedly) cheaper than 08 and 09 numbers.

Rung two days running asking for someone who doesn t live at my address. Obviously usual lifestyle nuisance call which still gets through despite being registered with TPS.

Received automated call after attempting to make a payment with my card which was refused. Automated voicemail left this number to call. This number is for the Fraud line call centre in Sunderland. I was wary at first about giving details and voiced this but service advisor said if worried not legit to call number on the back of my card and will be put through to them (not pressured into giving any security info at all). I don't trust these results. All numbers come back as being from 3mobile and in Manchester....even my own, which is definitely not right.

There is no simple way of verifying mobile numbers, many of them are unregistered on pay as you go tariffs. You will have to contact your customer and ask him to confirm his name.

this number called to inform me by recorded message that my internet was about to be disconnected and was asked to press one of 2 digits on my phone keypad where I would be directed to discuss my options. I consider this is a scam which would then connect me to a premium phoneline. it is now blocked by my call protect and I advise anyone receiving a call from this or similar numbers with the same dialling code not to press any digit on their phone but hang up and block the number
