Received an automated call telling me that this is a message from the HMRC. They are investigating me for tax fraud apparently and if I didn't press '1' a warrant will be issued for my arrest immediately. Disgusting and very dangerous, but nice of them to let me know.

A Manchester number, so thought is was someone I know. However it was an unpleasant person who identified themselves as being from a company called Motor Investigations. He wanted to talk about insurance. I asked him why he was calling and he was aggressive. I hung up. Definitely a scam of some sort.

Alleged NHS phone number for the immunisation management service. Spoke to a woman. Then I realised after having put the phone down that there is no way to check that I was actually speaking to a member of staff of the NHS. Too late! Just received a call from this number which showed up as an International Call, so wasn't answered. They didn't leave a message!
I received a call from this number today, it s seemed to be a poor connection or he made out he couldn t hear me. I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I expected they ( whoever they are) wanted me to call the bank at some unknown exaggerated cost to myself.

Had a call saying they had been passed my file about a traffic accident I d had in the last two years. I said "ok". He said "is that right?". I said "you tell me mate. It just sounds like you re fishing". The guy must have known I was on to him. He laughed and hung on me.
