This number calls daily once they have your number, whether you are registered with TPS or not! They are sometimes silent calls , sometimes you can hear an office in the back ground. Sometimes someone wants to know if you owe money on a credit card. I don t know if itis a scam. I do know it is a pain. Apparently this is Redress Claims .
They keep ringing me on my mobile even though I blocked the number and don't answer. Very annoying!!!!!

Scam HMRC tax rebate due to Covid. HMRC do not have my phone number so quite obvious. Avoid anything referring to Covid unless you know for absolute certain it is genuine. Also, remember Covid jabs are FREE. Dump anything that appears to ask for payment or similar details.

it is from Russia, saying that I had been fraudulently using my national insurance number, it is the international crim unit, and if I don't press one to speak to an operator my NI number will be suspended and I will be arrested. I didn't press one, I just hung up. Hope the KGB don't turn up on my doorstep!

Reject the call and then block the number before answering for the first time. I cancelled my Labour Membership and now I am getting calls from this number to rejoin, sometimes at 9pm.

Recorded message said they were the national crime agency and my internet connection would be cut in 20 minutes. To speak to someone they asked me to press 1. I put the phone down.
This number called my 93-year old mother-in-law at about 07:45 hrs. She told them that she couldn’t hear them. They called her back a couple of times, and tried to get her to do something on her iPad. She said she’d have to get her son-in-law to call them as she didn’t understand them. They haven’t called again since. Incident reported to local police as a vulnerable person is being targeted. This number has now been reported to BT security who have blocked it nationwide.

I keep getting calls from these people. They say they can dramatically reduce business rates and make all sorts of claims and promises then you get a contract that is nothing like what they promise on the phone and you will be left with a bill to pay of around £500 and no proof that they misled you. Consider it DANGEROUS, if you answer, they know that your number is active, sell your number on, and you will be bombarded, they will log your times on answering and build a profile of you, and eventually you are bait. Police aren't interested as no crime has been committed...yet! but it's too late then isn't it? Log it here and make others aware that the scamming F***s have invaded Chatteris now.

This number called me yesterday, and several times today. I picked up the most recent call and a girl laughed down the phone and hung up. No attempt to sell me anything or talk about pensions, as other comments have said, just straightforward nuisance call. Have now blocked them.
Early morning nuisance call
Call purporting to be Talk-Talk saying I had a problem on my internet. Probably the usual scam to try and hack my computer and then chanrge me a fortune to solve the problem that the cretins have caused. Heavily accented asian voice which is typical as I ve had several calls of this nature in the past.
