Second call. Picked up call to receive a recorded message about saving money on gas and electric bills. Offered option of pressing number for details or to be removed. I hung up.

Scam about broadband and internet

No one there when I answer. Who is this? Funny I get calls like this after confirming my home phone number with my insurance company.

This number is to do with the DWP and MWA (Mandatory work activity)

electronic message called naming daughter in law, asking her to identify herself by pressing 1 or calling back. Called number to express our confusion, aggressive mail voice cut in and said ok goodbye then .

Rang back and message said number does not exist. Scam.

As already reported this is the appointment reminder service. Safe to answer.

This number is not recognised if trying to call back. Which is the sign of a scammer. They have called several times despite being told not to. They have now been reported to TPS , but I doubt anything will be done :(

used number 0151 705 0130 very rude, claimed to know about an accident , became very bolshy when I asked for detail

The guy knew my name and address, said there was £2000 being given to every homeowner in my area for upgrades to their houses, said includes UPVC windows, doors and conservatories.

I had a call from this number at 07:45 and no one spoke to me

Tried to call me twice, when I tried to return the call it was not not recognised and I was told to check the number.... I ve blocked it.

Fake Holiday Claim

I have had nuisance calls on both my mobile and landline. Each time the ring off when I answer. Can anything be done to stop this idiot or idiots ?

Claim to be BT openreach, they are not. BT have been informed they are impersonating them. They want you to turn on your computer so they can protect you from hackers!! SCAM

A number of calls asking for Head of finance by name, won t say why, very abrupt/abrasive manner - I give them our head office number (which will take them ages to get through!)
