Mechanical voice says my Amazon Prime subscription will auto renew unless I press 1. As I do not have Amazon Prime I assume it is a scam. Pressing 1 will probably be a premium rate number or a scammer phishing for info.

Indian female, claiming to be from O2. I hung up without saying anything. Been getting calls every day from this supposed Bournemouth number. These scammers have obviously obtained a batch of similar numbers, as yesterday it was from 01202080470. These calls have been coming in coincidental to me using for the first time, a free photo printing service called 'FreePrints' where you pay just for the postage. I could be wrong, but it is highly suspicious, as I never usually get spam calls.

At no point can they tell you the address to which this scam is referring to, but the do try to get you to confirm your address to them. SCAM E-Mail, I believe this e-mail to be a scam. Informed me that my Currys PC protection plan is up for renewal @ £499.99. The phone number that they suggest I ring to talk about the renewal or cancellation is +44 1348 881008 this on checking, is a company in Dudley, using a [email protected] address. I may be wrong but I don't have any service plans with Currys and I think their e-mail address would include some reference to currys.
