I dialled this number back because I could not understand the woman and I got a message saying "if this number called you it was probably a hoax call" ???? i've never heard that before!
This guy called me and he said he was a member of the association AML "anti money laundering" in UK and international also. He pretended he could recover money from crypto websites. (I don't know what is crypto). He knows English, french and dutch. He has strong (false) argument to tell you. When I ask him to call the association AML to be identified, he turns around the circle. Spam phone contract call. Ignore. They told me my phone was coming to the end of its contract and that my bill would go up 17% so they needed to look at saving me money with a new contract. This was all false information.

Recorded message "bank alert" from bank "technical department" Usual same male voice used regularly for these scams from various numbers. Total pain and regarded as harrassment,. Thery obviously think folk are stupid enough to respond by pressing button 2 - which only atkes you to a premium rate line from which the scammers make money. Five star bad.

Call today supposed to be from BT telling me my IP address was public and hey would make it private. 2 men in what sounded like a room full of people spoke to me. I sked where the were calling from and they gave me an actual BT address in London. I asked the guy if he was Indian and yes he was. I told him the 1st person I spoke with was India too. I asked him if this was a scam. I then heard someone say drop the connection. So looks like a scam to me.

SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance.
